These two graphs from the University of Minnesota show the decline of COVID hospitalizations in Connecticut.
Pretty damn dramatic.
Only 2% of 5,824 people tested in Connecticut yesterday were positive for COVID -- the lowest percentage yet.
When I work on the ambulance, there are no COVID calls.
I read an article about some doctors in Italy declaring the virus there has mutated to a much milder form.
Coronavirus in Italy 'clinically no longer exists,' doctor says
“In reality, the virus clinically no longer exists in Italy,” Alberto Zangrillo, head of the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan, told RAI television, according to the New York Post. “The swabs that were performed over the last 10 days showed a viral load in quantitative terms that was absolutely infinitesimal compared to the ones carried out a month or two months ago.”
Could this epidemic really be ending with such a whimper? How great is this?
However, I read another article that completely debunks the former.
You can read the article for yourself, but this quote seems to some it up.
Dr Seema Yasmin, an epidemiologist from Stanford University, called for the original report to be deleted, saying it was 'bulls***'.
