About Me

P: I have been a paramedic in Hartford, Connecticut for over twenty-five years. My first book Paramedic: On the Front Lines of Medicine details my journey from speechwriter for the Governor of Connecticut to caregiver on the city streets. Rescue 471: A Paramedic's Stories is the sequel. I am have also written two novels about paramedics: Mortal Men and Diamond in the Rough. My new book: Killing Season: A Paramedic's Dispatches from the Front Lines of the Opioid Epidemic will be published by Johns Hopkins University Press in April 2021.
